Our Ethos

Trewidden Care Home is first and foremost a home for all of our residents. Our belief is that people with dementia need to feel safe , secure and comfortable whilst also feeling the people surrounding them understand their needs and communication methods.

We work closely with residents, families and other professionals to gather a life history and information. This in turn enables us to take a holistic approach to each individual within our care. A person centred care plan is built over time for every member of our home, enabling us, not only to ensure we meet the health needs of our residents but also their social and emotional wellbeing. We strive to ensure that good quality life experiences continue with us at Trewidden in a safe and secure environment whilst also creating a family feel throughout the home.
