Activities & Events

We have a designated Wellbeing Coordinator who organises a wide variety of events and activities for our residents.  She works with each person, ensuring that the activities are focussed on the needs and interests of every individual.  The monthly planner covers activities such as memory games, quizzes, arts & crafts, board games and beetle drives.  She also encourages armchair aerobics and keep fit, and for those who are unable to join in she works one to one with sensory time, using lights and music to vary their environment.

We have live musical entertainment at least once a month and enjoy regular visits from Hendra Farm, as well visits from Dog Therapy.

We have a weekly hairdresser and a therapy masseuse delivers a pamper day every other week.

At Rivermead View, families and friends are very important and we enjoy organising summer fayres and family barbecues to bring everyone together for laughter and conversation.
