Events & Activities

All events of the year are celebrated here. From Burns Night through to the Christmas period. In the month of December we have various activities including bell ringing, school and church choirs, brass band, a pantomime and sometimes even a visit from the Christmas donkey. We also have ‘street parties’ and church services. Relatives and friends are always welcome to come along and join in any of our celebrations with their loved ones.

We believe that Cowbridge is a warm and welcoming care home.  We also believe that we can all be a good source of support for each other, and benefit from sharing concerns, happy moments, information and resources.

Our  Well-being Coordinator organises various ‘hands on’ activities for our residents. For example painting poppies for Remembrance Day. There is a room dedicated to all forms of activities from arts and crafts to jigsaw puzzles.
