Celebrating National Day of Arts in Care, the residents painted white tiles using acrylic paints. The designs were bright and colourful and will be displayed around the Home for everyone to enjoy. The singing group, ‘POSLIPS’ came in for an afternoon of entertainment, encouraging singing, clapping and movement. There was a trip to the local Memory Cafe where the residents tried ‘Laughing Yoga’, which was a real hoot! Supporting MacMillan Cancer Support, the Home hosted a MacMillan Tea, Coffee and Cake afternoon, raising £20.00. The week was finished off with their Harvest Open Day, where, despite the damp weather, residents and their families enjoyed listening to music, singing old harvest songs, looking through the craft stalls and taking part in the Harvest Hamper raffle. The event raised £60.00 to go to the residents fund for activities.
Well done to the team!
